ACRE PARCEL WITH SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE MOUNTAIN RANGES

Breathtaking View

Brule (Jasper National Park), Alberta

Imagine owning property in the historic hamlet of Brule situated approximately one mile from the Jasper National Park boundary. Once a bustling mining town in the early 1900s, today, it is a peaceful community complete with a fire-hall, baseball diamond, lovely playground, community hall, outdoor rink, restaurant (excellent German food), and rodeo grounds(annual rodeo for 28 years now). The 8 acre parcel was a railroad spur line for the coal mine. Although it is within the hamlet boundaries it is very private and offers many choices for building sites. My 2 favorite sites are 1)a large alpine meadow with the mountains as a backdrop. At any given time you will see black bear, fox, mule and whitetail deer, elk and the occasional grizzly bear, cougar or moose roaming through the meadow. The second site can be found at the far end of the property. It is a plateau that affords a spectacular view of the river valley and the mountain range. For the avid outdoorsman there are miles and miles of old roads and trails in the area on which you can hike, bike, ride horseback, or quad. All of this is within minutes of Jasper National park, 2 provincial parks, several lakes, rivers and streams and a world class cross-country ski facility. The World Cup Biathlon event was held here is 93 or 94. Three and a half hours east on highway 16 is the capital city of Alberta, Edmonton, home to the world famous West Edmonton mall. There is one word consistently used by visitors to the area to describe their experience here: Peace.
