This place truly has it all.

If you are a boaty, the 100 feet of dock can easily accommodate your 50-60 foot yacht. Don’t worry about the water depth, as this is deep-water moorage, and don’t worry about swirling winds as this location is fully protected.

If you own your own floatplane there is a unique ramping system to get her out of the salt water and hose her off with all the peace of mind which goes with having her high and dry. As a boat owner, why waste time and fuel to get to the scenic and interesting parts as Cortes Island is the gateway to Desolation Sound, Toba Inlet Bute Inlet and hundreds of other fascinating hide-a-ways. Let Cortes be your starting point.

The magnificent principle residence has been located, engineered and laid out with precision taking every possible advantage of the ocean view and lay of the land. From practically every room windows have been set ever so low to permit even the slightest gaze towards the sea to be rewarded. You don’t have to be a composer or an author to enjoy the peace and tranquility which is afforded here, but just in case, try out the gleaming white grand piano which awaits your fingers gentle caress. This magnificent instrument was created in 1919 in Baltimore, Md. and was found in 1994, re-finished and helicoptered to it’s current home. It was chosen for its unequaled and perfect sound. If you are a writer, the quiet teasing sound of the waves gently caressing the water worn rocks below will inspire unlimited and yet to be created masterpieces.

This home was constructed in 1992 and consists of 3,000 square feet of grand living area and is highlighted with an imposing two-story glass atrium eating area, which easily accommodates eight to ten for dinner. The view from this area is a stunning 210-degree view of the ever-changing waterscape. There are three bedrooms with the large master suite facing directly to the water on two sides. The ensuite bath has a jetted tub for two and also provides a magnificent ocean view. If more formal dining is preferred, a separate dining room is situated towards the rear of the home creating a completely different aura with views of the natural forest shrubs and ferns.
