In the summer, swimming is pleasant. In winter swimming is possible, but 'brisk' would be an understatement.

I would prefer to sell it as a kit, and would include the backbone assembly, the knees and some nice goodies, including a bolt of sailcloth, internal lead ballast ingots, a curved bronze stem iron salvaged off an Aleutian Island beach and carried around the south seas for some years, and so on. Depending on how the lumber pile measures up, I’d guess the kit price would be in the neighbourhood of $30 to$35 g (Canadian)

The thing to do would be to buy the whole shebang, cream the pile for this boat, and then sell the rest to get your cruising stash. The wood is like gold these days, only probably more rare. Or you could build another boat, or many kayaks.
